The Hasan Legal Client Portal is a client workspace for the matters our office is handling for you. It holds the cases we have made available to your account, along with the documents, messages, tasks, intake forms, appointments and billing attached to each one. It supports both immigration and real estate matters, with information and tools suited to each.
The portal works in any web browser. There is also a companion mobile app, the Hasan Legal client portal app, which you can download from the Apple App Store for iPhone and from Google Play for Android. Both use the same sign-in, so your cases appear in either one.
One starting point for every matter
If you have more than one case with us, you no longer keep two sets of everything. The portal lists the matters available to your account and lets you move between them, each carrying its own reference, case type, current status, summaries and updates from the legal team, relevant dates, client tasks, and the people assigned to it.
The mobile app adds case search, sorting and pull-to-refresh, which make it easier to locate a particular matter and check its latest available information.
Knowing what stage you are at
Where the legal team has configured a workflow, the portal shows the stages of your case, how far along it is, status messages, and the tasks waiting on you. Where permitted, you can tick off the items that are yours to complete.
It is built to answer the four questions clients actually ask: what stage am I in, what has the office asked me for, what still needs my attention, and what is already done.
What the portal shows reflects the records kept for your case. A workflow update is not a government decision and is not a guarantee of any particular outcome.
Document uploads and access
Each case has its own document area. You can upload what has been requested, browse the folders, open or download what the legal team has shared with you, preview supported files, and search — rather than digging back through a year of email attachments.
On the mobile app, the camera does the scanning. Multi-page capture means a stack of paper becomes a submitted document without a trip to a scanner or a desktop. Camera features depend on your device and the permissions you grant.
Document checklists and to-dos
When the legal team assigns a checklist, you see the items and their status in one list instead of receiving them as a drip of separate messages. Client to-dos work the same way for actions rather than materials, and you can update the items marked as yours.
Marking an item complete records that you have submitted it. It does not mean the legal team has yet reviewed or approved the underlying document.
Intake forms you can finish in more than one sitting
Assigned intake packages are completed in the portal itself, organised into sections covering text fields, dates, contact details, selection lists, checkboxes and longer written answers. Progress saves as you go, so you can stop at a question you need to check and come back to it.
Only the packages assigned to your case appear, and attorney-only sections are never presented as something for you to fill in.
Completing an intake form provides information to the legal team. It does not by itself submit an application to USCIS or any other agency.
USCIS tracking alongside everything else
For supported immigration matters, the portal can display the USCIS tracking the legal team has linked to your case: tracked receipt numbers, available status information, status history and recorded events, and related notification history. Government updates sit next to the rest of your case rather than in a separate tab you have to remember to check.
Tracking depends on the legal team's setup and on the availability of the underlying service. It is not a guarantee of immediate updates and does not replace official government notices.
Messages tied to the right case
Messaging is attached to the individual matter, so a question about your I-751 stays with your I-751. You can read messages from the team, send questions and updates, review earlier conversations, edit your own messages where the portal allows it, and attach files through the web portal. The app gives messages their own tab.
Portal messaging is not an emergency service and does not guarantee an immediate response.
Meetings and billing, where you would expect to find them
Appointment information appears with the case it concerns: upcoming and past meetings, details, joining links, the existing-client booking link, and the links to reschedule or cancel. Those may open an external scheduling service depending on the links supplied.
Billing gets the same treatment. Depending on your arrangement and what the office has recorded, you can review invoiced amounts, payments received, outstanding balances, retainer information, installment schedules, available invoices and payment links. The app has a dedicated Billing tab. Where an eligible payment link exists, the portal opens the payment provider's hosted page — payments are not processed by a separate card system inside the app.
Notifications and signing in
On supported devices you can enable push notifications, review them in an in-app list, mark them read, open the relevant case from them, and set your preferences. Push depends on device permissions and notification-service availability.
Sign-in is email and password, with password recovery, the ability to update your email and password, and optional authenticator-app two-factor authentication. On supported phones, Face ID or fingerprint sign-in makes returning to the app quicker, subject to your device and biometric enrolment.
These controls are account protections. They are not a claim of absolute security or of any specific security certification.
Web or phone
Both cover the core of the portal. A few things only the native app can do.

Getting started
- Activate your accountFollow the access instructions provided by our office, then sign in and review the cases available to you.
- Work through what is waitingCheck your status, messages, tasks and document requests. Complete assigned intake sections, saving as you go, and upload requested materials to the correct case.
- Set it up for the long runReview meetings and billing, then configure two-factor authentication, biometric sign-in and your notification preferences.
If a case or a section you expected does not appear, contact the office. Some parts of the portal become available only once the team has assigned the relevant case, form, checklist, tracking record or billing information.
A more organised way to work with your legal team
The aim is a practical one: to make it easier to find your information, see what needs your attention, and stay in contact with your legal team while your matter is open.
Feature availability varies by case type, account permissions, office configuration, device, and the records shared with you. Not every feature is available for every case.
