Biography

Md Isteak Ahmed serves as Head of Office for Hasan Legal PC's Albany location, where he oversees day-to-day operations and client service for the firm's upstate New York presence. He brings more than a decade of legal experience, having built his career as a practicing litigator in Bangladesh before relocating to the United States. Before joining Hasan Legal PC, Mr. Ahmed was Managing Partner at Dhaka Jurists & Associates in Dhaka, where he led a team of attorneys and support staff across a broad civil and criminal litigation practice. Over his career, he appeared before numerous courts and tribunals, drafted pleadings and complex legal instruments, and managed every stage of client matters and firm operations. His work included reported decisions before the High Court Division of the Supreme Court of Bangladesh. Mr. Ahmed also brings tax and compliance experience to the firm, having served as a Tax Specialist where he completed advanced tax training. This financial and regulatory background adds significant support to the firm's investor-based matters — including E-2, EB-5, and L-1 cases. A foreign-trained lawyer, Mr. Ahmed earned his Bachelor of Laws (Honors) and Master of Laws (LLM) from World University of Bangladesh. He is a member of the Supreme Court of Bangladesh, the Dhaka Bar Association, and the Bangladesh Bar Council. Fluent in Bengali and English, he is well positioned to serve the firm's immigrant and South Asian client communities.
